RSI Science Night!

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson
RSI wants kids to grow up loving science! To encourage this, RSI wants to make science more fun! Science can be exciting, spontaneous, mysterious and action packed! Kids need to see this side of science! The Renascence School would like to thank the RSI PTO for all of the hard work and preparation that went into making this event happen. The event was hosted by the Student Committee of our PTO and headed up by Teresa Cheung and other volunteer parents.
RSI Science Night began with a food truck and music as families began to spread out and enjoy all of the different science stations that were set up for the kids to explore. There were many science experiments including rocket launching using water bottles that students have beens saving for weeks! An astronomy team came and brought high powered telescopes allowing very impressive and deep viewing of the night sky! It was a fun and eventful night at RSI and hopefully some of the inquisitive minds were stirred up by the wondrous world of science!
