As students move through their journey at RSI-OC, we continue with engaging curriculum thoughtfully created by researching the best practice and academic programs around the world. Using STEM curriculum we focus on problem solving and critical thinking by incorporating Singapore Math and Singapore Science curriculum elements. Language and humanities curricula help students become effective writers and readers as well as historians by examining literature in historical contexts. Presentation skills continue through formal instructions and various public speaking assignments in all 3 languages. including video portfolios demonstrating students command over all three languages. Through involvement in our Science Fair, students have the opportunity to put what they learn to practical use. And to round out the learning experience, students may obtain credit for off-campus arts, physical education, community service activities, and “Leader In Me” a leadership program based on the 7 habits model to sharpen life skills and leadership ability.
