A Dream Becomes Reality

In the early 2000s, Mrs. Juliann Talkington opened Renascence School International in Panama City, Florida to educate her daughter and
prepare her to (not just survive,) but thrive in the global economy. This unprecedented educational model was developed with the help of accomplished education professionals around the world with the goal of blending the best educators from top performing countries into a system to teach the 3 most widely used languages.

With the success of the East Coast Campus, RSI was brought to Costa Mesa, California by Carrie and Thomas Mizera who had the dream of sending their son to a top school that focused on multiple languages and strong STEM training.

In September 2011, RSI’s Orange County campus opened with 17 students. The Mizera’s and other founding families continued Juliann’s
legacy of love for their children and the pursuit of a breakthrough education model. As the innovative nature of our education became more evident, school families started sharing this treasure with people they knew. Communities also started to take notice of our students in the public – noting their language ability, academic foundation – and the manner and poise in which they carried themselves. With minimal marketing effort, but a lot of hard work and focus, RSI has grown over the years from 17 students to about 200 students in 2019.

The foundation of our organization is built on unwavering character and an intentional work-ethic backed by trust and a spirit of tenacity. As such, we have a long history of staring down challenges, collaborating to win and coming out ahead. The future is bright at RSI for our students, staff, community and partners. Collectively, we enjoy the core belief that of all the opportunities we have to build into the lives of our students, the best opportunity…is always the next opportunity.
