Walk Like an Egyptian! RSI Summer Camp – Week 1

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

The Renascence School International trilingual summer camp theme this year is “A Journey In Time”. The goal is to take kids on a journey through history and kicking off the first week, campers arrived to a time-warped campus, with decorations inspiring ancient times, the 50’s, and modern day life.

Students are currently time warping to ancient Egypt, and are enjoying some hands-on fun excavating dinosaurs and learning about their fossils, as well as all about ancient Egypt, their culture and rich history. RSI does all of this in three languages, English, Chinese, and Spanish!
The Elementary campers jumped right into their first coding class while the preschool students danced in Music and Moves! Campers have also been learning some basic concepts related to drama and dramatic play. This week they had fun playing different types of animals and learning how to work together and play like they were a moving vehicle.
