Students plant the first Renascence School International Orange County vegetable garden

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

Children love to play in the dirt and watch things grow! The Renascence School International Orange County Campus gave students the opportunity to experience first hand what it means to grow your own food. The children were able to put into practice what they have been learning in Science class. The L10 students each took turns handling a task, such as holding plants, digging holes, planting and watering. The students planted tomatoes, Japanese cucumbers and corn. Everyone is very excited to have the first RSIOC vegetable garden!
