The students had a great start to the 2016 Summer Camp! Week one was full of fun and learning!
The Toastmasters International worked with the students on the basics of public speaking. This is always a difficult skill for students, yet such an important one. Students were able to practice their short speeches in front of their peers!
The Storytellers had fun reading and learning how to play a game with hula hoops and colored tape in Spanish. The biggest challenge of this game was learning how to play the game when the instructions were only given in Spanish! The RSI quick learners did a great job.
For the Debate Masters and Eloquent Speakers making a good first impression was on the agenda this week. The Debate Masters also received individualized education from one of our experienced Chinese teachers.
The Courteous Kids celebrated the 4th of July by discussing Independence Day. One of the fun activities was making hats that resembled flags!
