Every year the Renascence School celebrates Dia de los Ninos, a Spanish holiday that celebrates children! This is a special day set aside to connect children to the world of learning through books and stories. The elementary students made book marks in Spanish class and learned about the literary legacy of Miguel de Cervantes (Don Quixote). The preschool students peeled and cut fruit to make delicious and healthy fruit kabobs! They also made homemade playdoh and mixed in various koolaid powers to change the color and smell of the playdoh.
Students enjoyed learning more about the Spanish culture and practicing their Spanish vocabulary throughout the day.
