Hello! Ni Hao! What better way to start the day than having fun at Sports Camp! Every morning, Renascence School International students let loose during the interactive sports segment of the “40 Days Around the World’ summer day camp. Playing sports has been shown to strengthen gross motor skills, teach children teamwork and cooperation while allowing them to expend energy! Students also learn sportsmanship and how to build self-esteem and self-confidence. This week sports camp concentrates on soccer. They will learn about the basics of soccer, how many people play in a game and most importantly, no using hands! First, the kids will start off with the regular warm ups and stretching exercises. Then they will practice their dribbling skills and learn to shoot on goal and dribble around defenders. Just look at the students go! Maybe this will inspire some of the Renascence School students to play soccer in the future! Bye! Zai Jian!
