Outside the Box – Christy Johnson
One of the ways that students at the Renascence School International are learning to develop patience, self-control and many other positive character traits, is through a reward system. Children often have difficulty understanding the long-term benefits of many of these important character traits that parents and educators try to teach them. This is why short-term rewards can be very significant in the eyes of a child. All students except L4 participate in a raffle system for good behavior. The children love to take their tickets and make their purchases at “The Store” once a month. The L4 students are having their own big time learning the alphabet and numbers by playing bingo. At the Renascence School, learning is fun!
