Field trips bring fun and hands-on learning

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

Field trips are a great way for children to gain firsthand knowledge outside of the classroom, while having fun and exploring something new.  The Renascence School International students departed on a bus for some fun in the great outdoors! The L4 and L5 preschool students went on a trip to Tanaka Farm where they had fun picking vegetables, including pumpkins.  The L10, C6, C7, and C8-C13 students went to Long Beach Aquarium, where they explored all that the Pacific Ocean has to offer and so much more! The students had fun and learned a lot. After returning from the field trip the L10 and higher students did some assignments in all three languages about what they had experienced on their field trip to the Aquarium.
