Perfecting the Art of Chinese Calligraphy

Outside the Box – Christy Johnson

The L70 students spent some time practicing calligraphy during Chinese class. The students really enjoyed writing their names and creating sentences using the vocabulary words that they have been working on in class. They used a special magical paper and water to eliminate the worry of ink spills! There was much fun and laughter as well as time spent focusing on learning to perfect the art of calligraphy! Thirteen incredible years at RSI and feeling very prepared!

My daughter completed her 13th year at Renascence School International this spring. The education system not only provided her with fluency in three world languages and advanced academic preparation in math, science, and the humanities; but encouraged her seek and embrace opportunity. We are particularly proud that she loves learning, easily converses with her peers and adults, is creative, and enjoys negotiating on her own. She is looking forward to attending Stanford University in the fall. Thanks Renascence! Read More
