The Renascence School International in Orange County, brought in a Child Life Specialist on Monday to teach the children about an illness that has touched the lives of one of the families in their school. We all know Cinco de Mayo as a Latin American springtime festival, full of food, music and dance. What the Renascence School International students have learned about Cinco de Mayo goes way beyond that into the history behind this big event. First and second grade students researched and did write-ups on Cinco de Mayo. They also stood up in front of the class and gave their presentations, all in Spanish, on what they had learned about this very special holiday. Read More

In honor of teacher appreciation week, the Renascence School International (RSI) would like to recognize its outstanding educators. Teaching is a very rewarding profession but often carries with it many challenges. RSI wants to make sure that its teachers know that their hard work and dedication is appreciated.  RSI has high expectations for its teachers.  It has developed its own teacher certification and credentialing system.
